The WRAW project's dataset was compiled through an innovative multi-stage and multi-method research design that used subnational quantitative data to compare and evaluate women’s rights reforms in 6 countries that have experienced armed conflict since 1980: Nepal, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iraq, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Rwanda. We examined reforms across five issue areas: political reforms, civil and family law reforms, transitional and criminal justice reforms, economic reforms, & National Action Plans. The datasets for each country, which will continue to be updated, can be found at the WRAW page of the UKRI GCRF Gender, Justice, and Security Hub. The complete dataset of reforms for all our project countries can be downloaded at the following link.
